I think it is quite clear that Wee Jas was not responsible, nor did she even encourage, such destructive use of magic. The fact that she took on a death aspect after the Twin Cataclysms is a sign of her anguish over the misuse of magic by her people. At least that's my take on it...
Hence the "may have". Personally, I like the hints at her darker past sewn by the latest Core Beliefs article in Dragon. She certainly didn't explicity in canon... but both heretics and enemies of her church could easily accuse her of it. I like my deities with some ambiguities.

Demiurge out.

I think we are forgetting one other important Death...

Norm MacDonald, or Adam Carolla?

Georgia Lass...

Prince Sirka/ Joe Black (depending on which version you like...)

There's also Death, and his apprentice Mort, from Terry Pratchett...

I'm got versions of Hahn/Wyatt's Angelic Orders in my historical fantasy homebrew, so I'll have to include the archangel Azrael as well...

(Any of my players should note-- that's not the whole answer... if you think you know, you're probably wrong...)

You've apparently never read stuff about Nerull so you wouldn't understand.
No, I've owned every pre-3E Greyhawk product and read the Dragon back in the day when all the Greyhawk deities were being detailed for the first time.

He's boring.

As for the Grim Reaper, well, the Grim Reaper is cool.
No, he's not. He's boring and incredibly played out.
