I'll start: LARPers. They are the idiots running around in a robe in the woods yelling "Lightning bolt" and hitting each other with foam swords

LARPers are silly, but are not idiots . . . let he who hath not been a geek cast teh first stone . . . .

It's bad karma for an geeky person to hate on others whose geekiness is of a different flavor.

Besides, D&D sprung from tabletop wargaming . . . . how geeky and uncool is that!?!?!

I love this game/hobby, but it didn't start out on the cool side of the fence, that's for sure.

Quenya is one of Tolkien's elvish languages. Insert "Klingon" for "Quenya" and the joke works out pretty much the same . . . .
