After a full week of insults, barbed exchanges, and problematic statements from all three accounts, the following has been posted by somebody who identified themselves as "Michael", perhaps suggesting that Justin LaNasa is no longer with the company (which seems unlikely), leaving many on social media to question whether "Michael" exists. The new TSR3 was founded by LaNasa, Stephen Dinehart, and Ernie Gygax, and despite the acrinomious social media activity, the former two founders' names have largely escaped much of the criticism.

UPDATE -- the below tweets now appear to have been deleted.

Around the same time, the header above the available events at the Dungeon Hobby Shop Museum website was altered to read: "Most role playing games will be played in old school fashion so if you're easliy offended or Rude ! DO NOT PLAY !" (sic)

So who is TSR3 co-founder Justin LaNasa? He was an American politician who ran for office in 2014 and 2020, and who was involved in a minor scandal during the latter campaign.

Just to give a little benefit of the doubt, maybe the land shark was one of the creatures "of historical interest" they mentioned, not one of the original creatures? "History" being in this context "of gaming".

Also, the GL landshark doesn't look like it can dig through the earth, so that makes it... well, lamer, actually.

EDIT: Also, none of this hyperbole is present on the GL Kickstarter. It only seems to have been part of the marketing since TSR3 was announced, which has its own hyperbolic claims.
Reading this made me look up the GiantLands kickstarter page and... I'm starting to see a few things, based on what happened recently, that are painting it in a somewhat ugly light...
There is also a strong ecological theme to the entire game. In the past mankind polluted the world. It's now the task of the characters to clean up the waterways and remove the nasty chemical pollutants in the lands of the world. A great many fun adventures will happen as characters try and figure out those tasks.
Okay... so it's kind of Dark Sun and you're sort of playing Druids fixing things. That's a nice topical thing in relation to Climate Change and carbon emissions and stu-
The real world can put pressure on people and give them a lot to worry about. Playing the GiantLands campaign allows the player to get away from the cares of the real world. As a person uses their imagination they are transported to a world with its own fantasy problems.
... so why the Ecological/Pollution/Climate Apocalypse theme..? Or is that not the kind of "Real World Worry" you're trying to get away from?

Yeeeeeah... that's... really sad. This Kickstarter was from 2019. So has this been part of a guiding principle the entire time?

Yeah, feels like they’ve done a 180° since becoming part of TSR. Last year the GiantLands account was saying #blacklivesmatter and talked about pushing the genre forward instead of reaching backwards 40 years.

If GiantLands wasn’t now part of TSR3, I doubt any of the transphobe/racist types would support it. They’re only hate purchasing. But that’s what you’d expect from a crowd that preaches “keepgamingfantasy” and then gets upset when people play tieflings.

Wow, that’s actually kind of tragic. 😞

Oh geez, maybe this means they're also of the belief that climate change isn't real? Gods, wouldn't that just be the manure icing on this whole rotten cake.

(From the one sentence you quoted, though, it sounds more Captain Planet than Dark Sun.)
