Why do girls get to have all the fun??

I turned the 'Iron Maiden' from Age of Wonders II into a prestige class.

Mmmmmm..... Unicorn mounted Elvish Virgins in Field Plate.....[/HomerSimpson] :D

There's another PrC in the Interludes:Brief Expeditions to Bluffside module that has a female requirement. Sisters of Mercy.

I did a count once, and I found that 50% of all my characters were female. So, I'm kind of weird that way, I guess. My current character is a female rog/sor.

There were guys in Everquest who would play female characters for the sole reason that they believed people (i.e., other guys) would believe that they were female IRL, and give them things. No, I was not one of those guys, but I did have a twinked out female enchanter that I played occasionally.

The Lion's Pride from Rokugan are is also a female only PrC.

And don't forget the Naga, a playable race from Rokugan. Normally, they look mostly human from the waist up, with long snake tails. The females, however, can also assume human shape.

Not only does this allow them to move amongst humans more easily, but opens them up to PrCs that have shapeshifting as a requirement (I think there are 2 or 3 of those).

Advantage of being a male PC -- DM can not make your PC pregnant as part of a storyline (with or without your consent) -- barring magic, of course.

Er...how could a DM make a female PC pregnant as part of a storyline with or without her consent?

DM: Make a reflex save.
PC: Damn, a 1, I failed.
DM: You slipped and fell on some sperm. I declare the thief, Blackleaf, to be pregnant.
PC: NO! Not Blackleaf, No!!!

How can you have a twinked-out Everquest character while playing occasionally ?!?

MEN GOT THE SHAFT!

That's it! My next campaign, I'm enforing that all Kings have to be Male! There! Ha!

Of course, the girls in my group (the majority) may suddenly get all high and mighty on me, but they're just chicks....

.....though they do hit harder than me.....and in more sensetive areas....

Nevermind. Girl-based PrC's remain. :)

I'm sure male-only things can be devellopped, though releasing them may be a bit wonky. It'd basically be for the same reason there are female-only PrC's....cultural/religious overtones...

I like Meepo's idea of a church that was male-only. Male-only leadership-based PrC's could exist. I could imagine a few male-only warrior PrC's as well...Male-only hunter PrC's....Male-only shaman PrC's...

I think the only problem with classes like this is that it's more culturally accepted today to discriminate against men than it is women. You'd probably have to very accurately explain *why* the class is man-only, while a woman-only PrC can get away with little ("they only allow women") or no explanation as to why.

I definately support some gender-based PrC's that are a bit more historical/cultural than just pretending those lines don't and didn't exist.

Because if it were a requirement you had to be Male, it wouldn't be very Politically Correct.

I hope you realize that there is a big difference between political correctness and fairness and diversity. Political correctness is a societal system of controlled manipulation, which is not concerned with the individual. Diversity and fairness would stipulate gender issues more accurately.
