Hellgate: London?

I could understand Crysis (which likely still won't even run at maxed settings ), but not really Hellgate: London... does it even remotely need that kind of hardware?

No, but it'll sure look pretty
Crysis and Bioshock should be pretty keen too.

I've also decided against going 64-bit. The present problems with 64-bit OS's might get ironed out one day, but I'm not willing to be unable to play with my new toy until everyone gets on the same page

Yep, there are simply too little benefits for going 64bit (and the benefits are irrelevant in practical use for almost everyone) as opposed to the potential problems.
