If you wanted the absolute widest possible spell list, alongside 20 levels of full caster slots, you could be Wiz 17, Cleric 1, Druid 1, and even Bard/Paladin/Ranger 1…

Cure Wounds and Healing Word are augmentable so this character is almost as good a healer as a pure Cleric…

No more than Wizard/Sorcerer which is the example given, also you only need a 13 in the lower ability and if you are talking about level 20 you can even get that late.

For Sorcerer/Trickster Cleric gets you heavy armor (or medium if you dump strength), Wisdom saves, and Channel Divinity. Particularly effective on a Trickery domain


For a Bard/Wizard You get Inspiration and I would also take a Glmour Bard for Beguiling Magic twice a day although Eloquence and Whispers both also have neat features depending on what exaclty you are playing.

Funny thing. Our warlock rarely fails a con save. But the incapacitated condition from sleep (wis save) is enough to break concentration.

Yeah IME in play it is usually Wisdom saves that are most often breaking concentration. Not always but mostly.

Maybe if you are a hard melee tank with a low AC it is a different story.

One reason I rate clerics and druids highly.

Wizards basically dont have any excellent saves.

Huh…? But Wizards and Druids have the same two saves… am I missing something?
