WorldWorks 3D sets - anybody ever use any of them?

I'm glad you've discovered WWG's products. They have a great line of material, castles, dungeons, village and inns to spaceships and the modern city.

Presently DungeonWorks 1.5 is in the 1.5" scale. This was intended to support the Clix based minis, though there are 1" scale users who find that it works for them, as it adds more space for figures. WWG attempts to bring products out that support its players. Fans asked for 1.5" and they delivered. However, future sets will be in the 1" scale, due to the cancelation of the MK game by WizKids. The 1" scale is the recognized standard for minis now.

Be sure to check out all of WWGs items. They're reasonably priced, and they help support a small business.

Thanks,
Janx

I can tell you that Dungeonworks Classic (which they probably don't sell anymore -- I got it on sale last summer) looks very good even on my dirt-cheap Canon i320, though it is ink-intensive, and the detail is too fine to appreciate from typical gaming distances. I dealt with the latter problem by handing new props around so the players could see them up-close before I put them on the table. :) For the former, I found that I could make a few pieces go a long way by only setting up the scenery for battles, rather than building entire dungeons.

I've contemplated getting stuff like this before, but I always hold myself back for the same reason that I didn't play MMORPGs until very recently ...

If I started, I don't know if I could stop. And I don't want my available product to unduly influence what I do with my games. "Man, I don't have a flaming chasm ... I won't do a flaming chasm in this adventure." etc.

But I do want some. Must ... resist ... ship model ....

Does anyone know if they are compatible with the tiles from Skeleton Key Games?

Sorry to take so long on getting back/thread necromancy - I gather that some people do use the Skeleton Key games tiles as floor tiles when creating rooms and buildings, though I have not done so. Curved walls would be the hardest part to copy, but most of the 'dungeony' sets have several choices on wall lengths, so it should be doable.

The Auld Grump, looking for a completely different thread...
