This is so cool. I didn't see this before.

My personal story with D&D comes in at about 1981 with the Moldvay set. Though earlier that year I'd seen kids using the Holmes edition and it shattered my mind. I had to play that game.

I started in 1988 when I got the Red Box for my birthday from the older step-brother. I had been reading the Dragonlance Chronicles, Narnia, Prydain, and some of the early Forgotten Realms books, as well as Choose Your Own Adventure so D&D was like progressing to the next level.

How do they compare. The ENWorld ones are more detailed.
