Also, because there appear to have been some problems with a number of people's WotC website accounts accessing the customer service email system, here's a link to the thread on the WotC boards where customer service people are helping anyone for whom the 'Email Us' tab in the WotC help system doesn't work: Trouble Accessing our Help System? Post here. - Wizards CommunityDykstrav, here is the link for how to get your RPGA number again.
Funny, it never occured to me to do that, because it would be, I dunno... cheating? However, after being told that it was just fine to do so I went to the linked sight... and got nowhere. Everything I did landed me back at the FAQ site. There is, as far as I can tell, no way to get a DCI number. Or join the RPGA. (No, going to a game day is not an option.)Sigh. So, ah, why not sign up for the RPGA and the DM's Rewards Program for FREE!?!?!?! You don't have to buy it!
Or, you could wait until some dubious fellow puts it up on eBay for an outrageous opening bid . . .

Also, people complaining that WotC is sending out a free adventure for its RPGA members boggles the mind - just another example of how the internet can never be satisfied.
It's not easy (. . .)
(. . .)
I have no issue with DMs getting rewarded if they spend alot of time promoting the game.
My compaint was that this particular product was not available to everyone (. . .)
There is a big difference between the two, at least AFAIC. YMMV.
