WotC News - Is this for real???

What's funny is that this was the very title which popped up in gamer suggestions for a better title when "Complete Adventurer" was announced.

Oh, and when do we get "Complete Raven"? ;)

IIRC Complete Scoundrel was pretty high on the list of names for the book that then was printed under the title Complete Adventurer, when the good people of EN World discussed how the 'thief book' would be called without making it too 'thievy' (since complete books by nature are meant to be useful for characters of all/most classes, unlike the old splatbooks (Sword & Fist, etc)).

Complete Warrior 2 will be Complete Fighting-Man :p

kpwned! :) Hehe, just playing with ya!

Wake me when they come out with Complete Munchkin and Complete Rules Lawyer.

I'm still waiting for "Complete Crunch", which is a single book filled entirely with every WotC feat ever published, complete with all errata, and with the text descriptions including "Unlocks: " as well as "Prerequisite: "

"Complete Henchman", featuring lack-of-prestige classes, metamagic feet (hygiene tips), and new spells (as in "how do I spells me name?").

"Complete Scoundrel" - are they messing with us, or are they going for the Lamest RPG Book Title Ever Award?
Any 3e books with titles that begins with the word "Complete" are lame to begin with because it is NEVER complete. :] :] :]

Anybody wanna wager that the total number of 3.5e Complete books are going over OR under the total number of 2e Complete Player's books (9)? Sorry, the Races of series don't count on a technicality (No "Complete" in their titles).

:p

I suspect the word they're looking for is "compleat", which means something different but sounds too archaic for use with a mould-breaking, hip and funky roleplaying game for the canny Matrix-cyberpunk-dance culture youth of today.

Swing it, daddy-o.
