Yes there already is a Starship Troopers sequel. It will be showing on the "action" channel later this month on cable. No I won't be watching it, I am not the one in the chair.

not only would I watch AD&D over troopers two, I would watch it over the first troopers movie. Ugh, and I say again, ugh.

Likewise. I enjoyed the original ST. Of course, I've never read the book -- yeah, I know I should, but I've already got a list too long to finish in this lifetime.

So, what you're asking me is a bit like "Would you rather watch 'Manos, Hand of Fate' or 'Goldeneye' all day long." Pretty much a no-brainer.

I don't think either original movie was good. But, the D&D movie was funnier in it's badness than Starship Troopers was. My gaming group and I actually laughed our butts off watching the D&D movie, but ST left us bored. Based upon that, I'd go with D&D2
