X-mas gifts for level 11-13 characters

Jolly Giant

First Post
My five players and I will be spending the upcoming weekend in the country, 3 blissful days of good food, drinks, D&D and fun. (Jealous? :D )
I thought it would be fun to have a strangely familiar stranger make a brief appearance, rewarding the PCs for their many good deeds. Yes, he'll be a white-bearded human in a red coat, driving a reindeer-pulled sleigh.
I found some neat gift ideas in Book of Eldritch Might III. Really low-price magic items like a plate that makes any food you eat off it taste good, the pillow that guarantees comfortable sleep etc.

Anybody have any more ideas for suitable gifts? Value approximately 500gp, low on usefulness, high on coolness?
Let's hear'em, folks! Other DM's might wanna use them, too...

A snow globe of Santas Workshop

A magical stocking of alignment that gives a gold piece when put in the hands of a good/neutral NPC and a piece of coal in an evil one.

Maybe give them ornaments that offer a small bonus or item when hung from a tree 1/day.

Being Jewish who is this man in red with animal companions??? I looked in the FR book and did not see one.
:D

KIDDING!!!!!

I once played in a group where we got gifts from Santa! It was cool, my magic-user (9th level, this was back in 1e) got a wand of negation with the command word "Frankie Goes to Hollywood sucks"...

Ah, isn't Santa an elf? As in, "jolly old elf?" That's what I made him. I had him show up in my campaign last year. It was actually kind of hillarious. I said "A hole opens in the ceiling, and out of it drops a fat old elf in red cold weather gear, with a large sack slung over his back. When he lands on the floor he lets out a good belly laugh." One of my players almost attacked him. I guess the monk vampires they'd just killed made him a little skittish...

OK, some weird ones here that just popped into my head. I'm not sure if I should re-think this. Oh well, here it goes:

Helm of Manilow
Magical Helm that when worn, soothes the wearer with a constant stream of Barry Manilow tunes (Barry is a famous Bard in my campaign). -2 on Listen checks. +1 on will saves while worn. If the player decides to sing along with helmet "I write the songs that make the whole world sing...", there is a 1 in 20 chance each round that he will acquire a groupie (usually a teenage farm girl or village peasant). While wearing the helm, the player cannot be deafened.

Epel Stopin Spray - Can of spray. Hair removal spray, of course. Worth about 500 gp to a red wizard of Thay (they like that bald look). Can also be used with a ranged touch attack to bald a foe (Reflex save negates). The most fascinating thing to scholars is who made the can?

Magical Chia Pet - but not your mundane one. Produced by a famed Herbal master, Cha Cha Chia. When rubbed on an injured player, it will heal 1d8 of damage (which causes the hair to fall out of both the pet and the player). It take 1d4 days for the hair to grow back, in both cases. Could be a life saver.

OK, I better stop. Cheers.

Naughty/Nice List: When you hold this scroll in one hand, and say a creature's name, writing appears on the paper indicating whether the creature is good or evil. Neutral characters do not show up. This works even against creatures whose alignments would normally be undetectable, though against such creatures there's a 50% chance of failure.

Travellers cloak .... at least that is what I think it is called it is in forgotten realms book....totally cool ...but low powered.
