More X3 news from the article:

The part of Warren "Angel" Worthington's father has not yet been cast but is down to a few actors, while Daniel Cudmore will reprise his role as Colossus in X3. And, yes, Alan Cumming's Nightcrawler will definitely not return.
I like the young Kitty. It's also cool that Colossus is back and played by the same actor. I will miss Nightcrawler but only because he was done so well by Cummings. I just don't hope they don't pull a super rush job and botch the whole flick (which is what looks like is happening).

Huh. Interesting article. Of course, what I find most interesting is this:

IGN Filmforce said:
IGN FilmForce has learned that the role of Kitty Pryde in X-Men 3 will be played by fifteen-year-old actress Ellen Page (a.k.a. Ellen Philpotts-Page).

(emphasis mine)

Yet, according to both sites listed in the article, Ellen Page has a birthdate of 1987. Looks like the author, Stax, was smart not to pursue that mathematics degree after all.

[EDIT] According to my Google searches, it looks like everyone reporting the story so far is simply mimicking the IGN "15-year-old" report. Dang- just when you think it's safe to give reporters the benefit of the doubt...

I heard that the guy who played "Colossus" is not an actor but a bodybuilder and REALLY can't act. (I forgot where I read this) So maybe it is best if he does not have a real part.

It never hurt Arnold. Hopefully he can do a good job.

His delivery of the line "I can help you" was spot on for Colossus, though, so I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. Sure, its just one line, but it was perfect.

It was very good, yes, but not perfect. It had no Russian acccent, which I hope they make up for in X3. Colossus was always my favorite non-Wolvie character. Whenever I read his lines, I always, always, always heard them in my head with a Russian accent.

Yeah, but what if he's not Russian in movie land?

I just hope Colossus gets a real part in this story

If they have Colossus pick Wolverine up and throw him I'll be satisfied.

I think the "Kitty is played by a fifteen year old" media thing is so they can get the right reaction when they start the romance in X3. We know that there are likely to be spinoff X-movies so long as they make the bucks; one focusing on the relationship between Kitty and Peter would be expected.
