(YBA) Gate to the Prison Planet :: Mewtwo enters the Gate

Mewtwo is afraid he's heading to some volcano or something but still heads on forward, not wanting to be eaten by a Grue.

As mewtwo continues ahead the ambient light in the tunnel brightens, but there is no indication of where it is coming from. After walking for several minutes mewtwo hears faint sounds in the distance... it soundslike something striking something else repeatedly and quickly...

The psychic pokemon heads to investigate the sound...

The sounds get louder and the light gets brighter, becoming a strong orangish glow. The sounds sound very similar to metal striking metal in a repetative beat. After walking for not more than a couple minutes the path splits into three branches. The sounds come from the tunnel on the left. The center tunnel also has an orangish glow. The tunnel to the right seems dark, and a cool breeze emanates from it...

Mewtwo decides to try the right path first, hoping to find a way out of this mess...

The tunnel quickly becomes pitch black. THe breeze continues to waft through the tunnel.

After walking for a minute mewtwo feels his foot splash into cool water...

Upon examination, the tunnels seems to widen into some kind of underground lake or river.

You feel very vulnerable in the dark. You are likely to be eaten by a Grue.

Mewtwo sighs and backtracks, this time investigating the place with all the noise...

As you proceed down the tunnel the sounds become louder, shaking even the cavern itself. It is a rythmic, regular beating noise. The tunnel in front of you curves to the right. Down it, you hear voices! You can't hear what they say but it is definitely a language...

Mewtwo quietly creeps along, hoping to catch whatever the voices were from off guard...

Mewtwo sees several wooden barrels sitting in the tunnel. There are to hewn doorways on either side of the tunnel directly across from each other. Large amounts of light, heat and noise issue from the doors... The tunnel continues beyond the doors...
