Adding to what Kalanyr said,
The Run Away rule is not a part of the official rules and is completely optional at this point. I created it for Wicht's Lair and others have adopted it as well. Kalanyr is correct in how it works. If the Judge allows it, you may run away from any fight, but must do 1 generated attack as normal. If you fail the attack you run away but still take damage. If you succeed in the attack you deal no damage but get away without further injury. Since the rule is optional, this may be adjusted but the judge and player should agree to how it will generally work beforehand.
I also adjusted the rules for Wicht's Lair to have certain NPCs operate as PCs. These NPCs can acquire loot from defeating or bargaining with PCs and can furthermore only be killed if they recieve a single attack worth more than 2 hits. I have, as a rule, given such PCs the Epic Power: Fated. I did however, mention this as being true from the outset of the dungeon.
