D&D 5E You find a magical _____, it does _____

Eltab

Lord of the Hidden Layer
While wearing these pants, you gain Advantage on all Perform rolls, and all Charisma checks that would be aided by looking good and having a really nice butt.
That reminds me of the Saturday Night Live skit where George Michael wants to ask Frank Sinatra for some career advice, but winds up trying to give him some (unwanted) advice instead.

A Ceramic Coffee Mug that constantly emits an Ominous Contra-Basso Hum

Inqusitor's Quaff (or Caffe, as you prefer) (very rare, requires attunement)

This mug projects an ominous, constant hum. It detects as abjuration, enchantment, and illusion magic.

It has several magical capabilities and consequences.
1) The hum cuts through all sound-altering spells (such as Silence) in a 20 foot radius. Sonic illusions fail.*
2) All Concentration checks by anyone in a 20-foot radius suffer disadvantage.
3) You automatically fail all Stealth checks while carrying the mug on your person.
4) You gain advantage on all Intimidation checks while holding the mug in your hand.
5) While you drink (any liquid) from the mug, you may cast Fear once per short rest, as a Sorcerer of your total character level. The standard VSM requirements are replaced by drinking from the mug.

*At the GM's discretion, the wielder gains resistance to thunder damage.

The Tri Coin

Experts agree that this magical coin is worth both 1 platinum piece but also at the same time worth 1 electrum piece.

The Jester's Magical Unbelievable Necro Thread

Crafted by The Grim Jester, an evil bard turned lich, this large spool of night black suture thread gleams with crackling necrotic magic.
If used by someone skilled in Medicine the thread can be used to join dismembered body parts together into the form of a complete person. Then the dark energy animates it as a Flesh Golem bound to serve the crafter's will.

This item functions as a Manuel of Flesh Golem Creation (DMG p.180), with the following exceptions. User does not need any spell slots, but must be proficient in medicine and have a proficiency bonus of +4 or higher. The process takes the normal 8hrs a day for 60 days as each vein, each organ, and each muscle group must be expertly stitched together correctly. The normal 50,000 gp cost is waved, supplanted by the expenditure of the magic thread, which is completely consumed in the making. There is no additional cost assuming the crafter can acquire all the body parts.

Next item: A pair of Musical Spoons

Sylavas' Sympathetic Spoons (legendary, requires attunement)

This magical bardic instrument is the only remaining creation of a Sylavas, an eccentric musical genius, artificer and often-drunk tavern brawler -- the latter (frequently) came into play when people didn't enjoy his music, and it led to his eventual demise.

The Spoons require a tool proficiency in drum, percussion, or exotic instruments. Playing the Spoons takes both hands and more: while playing, your speed is halved and you are at -2 AC.

Fifteen (15) total levels of spells may be cast from the Spoons per short rest. Available spells (level cost in parentheses) are:
Danse Macabre (5)
Haste (3)
Otto's Irresistible Dance (6)
Revivify (3)

Dexterity is the spellcasting ability modifier.
No standard VSM components are needed for these spells when cast using the Spoons.
Concentration spells require that you continue playing the Spoons for as long as you attempt to maintain Concentration.

When you cast a spell using the Spoons, all creatures with an Intelligence or Wisdom of at least 3 within 30 feet of you and not already the target of that spell suffer the mechanical effects of the Hypnotic Pattern spell. There's no magical visual effect, but all other effects of Hypnotic Pattern apply until you stop playing or affected creatures make their Wisdom saving throws. At the GM's discretion, creatures that roll a natural 20 on their Wisdom saving throw become enraged and single-mindedly attack you.

Next: Four smooth-sided cubes fashioned so they can be connected to one another on any of their six outer sides to form a variety of different final shapes

Summon Cubes

These cubes are smooth sided and seem to magnetically stick to each other, but not other things.

As an action, a user may speak the command word, and a stone structure appears within 60ft. The structure is in the same shape as the cubes have been assembled into, and each side of the larger cubes are 20ft long.

A decorated metal cylinder, about the size of a sword handle, with a button on it.

Scrollcase of the Twilight Coven

This decorated silver cylinder is a water-sealed container for magic scrolls. However, upon placing any scroll inside, the decorations on the side of the cylinder change, to form various arcane symbols. To those who can read it, the scrollcase reveals the school(s) of magic used by the scrolls inside, and a warning if the magic is dangerous. This allows the user to safely detect cursed scrolls and magical traps without actually reading the scroll.

Next... A helmet shaped like the head of a roaring lion.

Helm of the Beast King (Requires Attunement)

With gilded face and bronzed mane, this Lion shaped helm grants a number of powers.
While wearing the Helm, you gain a +1 Cha enhancement bonus
The Helm has 8 charges. Each day at dawn it regains 1d6 +2 charges.
1 charge allows you to use Intimidate in place of Animal Handling for the rest of the scene
1 charge can be spent to gain Advantage on a single Intimidate roll
You can spend 3 charges to unleash a powerful damaging Roar. This attack functions exactly as a 5th level Dragonborn Cone breath weapon that deals Sonic Damage.
As long as you are attuned to the Helm, you develop a taste for raw or very rare meat.

Next Item: A wooden folding chair

Chair of the Adirondacks

While sitting in this chair, you have +2 on all Strength rolls and saving throws. Folding or unfolding the chair requires a full action and a Dexterity save (DC 12). Getting up out of the chair requires a full action and some grunting. Carrying the chair when folded counts as twice it's weight for purposes of uncumbrance. Carrying the chair when it is unfolded is just asking for trouble.

Carrying the chair when it is unfolded is just asking for trouble.
This could be the key to avoid setting off a Glyph of Explosive Runes. Who would think of it - especially after trying to get that bulky chair through the narrow doorway?
