Other: I like how the game mechanics and mood encourage a collaborative world-building effort between DM and PCs. Good examples of this include Backgrounds, One Unique Things, threadbare Icons, and just enough detail to make an interesting world. The Priestess, for example, is a herald of the Gods of Light, but said Gods aren't detailed. The Empire is talked about a lot, but there's no long list of history of dynasties, noble houses, and geo-political territory shifts. These elements can change from one 13th Age game to another, and it would all be good.
