Zombie movies

So, how do you like your zombie movies? Serious or silly? Do you like your zombies freshly dead, or do you like em when they have stewed in their grave for a bit?

Some zombie movies can be both serious and silly at the same time. So I'll go with either of those. As for the length of time, I prefer that my zombies have been dead for a while before they start heading out to find brains.

I like my zombies slow and near unstoppible. Those new fangle fast models seem less like zombies and more like every other fast moving monster out there.

I like zombies that actually look like rotted corpses. Honestly, too many of the recent zombie movies have had zombies that were so recently dead that they did, in fact, just look like actors with some bad makeup on. They need to look seriously rotted and necrotic.

Me too, I like my zombies to look like Mr. Boogah here.

I have to admit I'm not a huge zombie fan.

I like Dawn (old one) and Day of the Dead, but my favorite zombie movie is Shaun of the Dead...so I guess I like the semi serious semi silly ones the best.

Serious, slow and decomposing. That just makes it more scary if a fast or near-living one pops up (see Resident Evil's dobermans and Licker).

I like my zombies fast, rotting, and hungry.

On the serious/camp scale, I'm a huge fan of Dawn of the Dead 2004, but my favorite will ALWAYS be Return of the Living Dead.

Thanks, now I want to run All Flesh Must Be Eaten again.
