Taking his cue from the twang of Druthruss' crossbow, Pier gestures with his dagger, and flames erupt from the ground in the midst of the orcs, throwing clods of dirt and sparks in every direction.

OOC: Weel's Punishing Eye power removes concealment for all foes in the area of effect (3 squares around I8), which I would assume allows for free line of sight, though I could be wrong on that.

Hearing the twang and thud of a well shot crossbow, Vatan rushes out from the trees and rushes the back of the orc in front of him swinging his sword and axe as he comes. The sword misses the orc's head by a hair, but the axe bits deep into its side. "That should teach ye ta be robbin yer betters! Ye pond scum!!" Vatan will bellow after feeling the axe sink in.

OOC: My plan is to update sometime today. Of course, we all know how plans go sometimes. If Aridha hasn't acted by then, I'll make the move for [MENTION=4936]Shayuri[/MENTION]. I'm sure it will be sometime after 3:00 central before I even think about trying to put a post together, as I've got some errands and family time to consider first.

Aridha surveys the battlefield for any orcs that seem to be grabbing ranged weapons, or...Great Forest forbid...spellcasting implements. To such a one she prepares to unleash a flame spirit upon in hopes of stopping them from pelting the party right away.

She then invokes the Change, becoming a savage, smolder-eyed boar with long, sharp tusks!

(OOC - I have to look up my attacks since my sheet doesn't have the figures on it...stupid sheets from DDI... But this is what she does.)

From nowhere a bolt appears in one of the orc's chest. The orc doesn't even have time to wail before it dies, and before it can hit the ground Vatan takes out another from behind.

The orc camp erupts into chaos as they scan the clearing for their attackers. The red-bearded human is the only one visible, and is quickly engaged. Two of the injured orcs take cover behind one of the wagons while the last looks for the crossbowman.

A clattering and shouting draws attention to the southern cart, where a robed orc steps down into the chaos. He quickly takes note of the scene and jumps back up into the cart and out of sight.

Aridha charges out of the forest, snorting and tossing her tusks as she bears down on Orc 6!

(Charge and Savage Rend (which is an MBA-equivalent) on Orc 6! If the orc is killed by the attack then she'll wildshape back to elf form as well.)

(Edit - Add 1 to attack and 2 to damage...forgot my Enraged Boar Form bonus, which is why I charged in the first place! Bahaha.)

As the bolt thuds into orc chest Druthruss feels quite elated. This new crossbow seems to have a keen action. He places another bolt into the breech.

"Now... who else would like to feel the bite of some iron."

Seeing them flee back to the wagon and noting that Vatan is already engaged in combat the choice is a simple one. Eying up K5, he takes another well aimed shot hoping to hit some vulnerable spot.

OOC:Std attack, if I get CA then its +2 to hit as well less their cover bonus, if no CA then use one of the d6's for dam. Does the punishing eye do more dam too ? Minor is a reload. No move.
