So how do you get from there to the part where you say that the internet voices were ignored? If you believe the vast majority of howler monkeys were also involved in the surveys, that's where their voices were counted.

Or are you saying some people should have been given more than one vote, by participating in the survey and by posting opinions on forum discussions?

I don't really understand what gave you the impression that I was saying that the internet voices were ignored or that some peoples' opinions should matter more.

In my opinion, the only thing that influenced the game designers' decisions were the survey results. I don't think any of the discussions we had online ever made them change their minds, and to the best of my knowledge, none of the ideas posted in their forums ever made it to the playtest.

Because ninja isn't special snowflake enough. Gotta make them wear white lol.

Because wearing black while hiding at night makes being a ninja too easy. Real ninjas need the challenge of wearing white. Yeah. That's how hardcore they are.

There was a ton of talk about meat....

In the end some things they saw as too off putting to too many and they dropped them, doam and warlords( mostly non-magical) healing. But some things they did push through arguements no matter how loud did not stop them.

I never felt they kind of pulled a fast one and they just had lots of ideas and some they were more determined to keep but still who knows it would be wild speculation on my part to say things were set in stone at anytime until the print.

And this is from someone not happy with some what I think a re key parts of 5e. But I have to be fair, they did at least let me say my piece.

DoaM? Remember, it got it's own discussion forum?

They may not have consistently gone with what people 'wanted' by on-line consensus, but they may have avoided things that seemed 'too controversial?'

I mean, theoretically wouldn't it depend on two things-

First, the ninja wears black when killing important people.
But it's a white-ninja event for killing super-important people, like royalty.

Second, real ninjas don't wear white after labor day.

Jus' sayin'.

You don't seem to understand what I'm saying. I can use simpler words or translate what I said in Spanish or French if that can help
