D&D 5E You find a magical _____, it does _____

A small hollow whistle in the shape of a singing bird

Sounding this whistle confers the benefits of a Speak with Animals spell but it only works with Christmas robins. However, there is also a 5% chance that blowing the whistle will attract the attention of a team of reindeer. Reciting the reindeers' names correctly will render them friendly, and willing to pull sleighs until dawn. While pulling a sleigh, they are able to teleport unlimited distances between chimney pots.

The Garland of the Archdruid can be worn by any creature and when doing so allows him or her to cast Druidcraft and Guidance as per the Druid Cantrip. If attuned by a druid, it also conveys the following benefits:
- one extra Wild Shape use per short rest
- cast Animal Friendship, Animal Messenger and Barkskin once day
- prepare and cast one extra 3rd, 4th or 5th level spell per long rest when the Druid is high enough level to do so

Next item: an adamantine and platinum sword pommel

An adamantine and platinum sword pommel

This decoration identifies the weapon it adorns as a Sword of Heroes, one of the 126 weapons given to those who fought at the legendary last battle of Three Forks as members of the Iron Legion mercenary troop. Out of the five hundred soldiers, only 126 survived the battle, in which they held off an invading force almost ten times their number and turned the entire course of the war.
Although the pommel contains only a minor enchantment that renders all damage the sword does magical, the true magic of the Sword of Heroes is in the social implications of carrying one. Possessing such a sword marks one as a national hero. Anyone who sees the sword is automatically well-disposed towards the bearer and likely to render whatever assistance they can. However, the bearer is also likely to be constantly called upon to tell the story of his actions in that fateful battle, and woe betide anyone carrying such a blade if they haven't earned it...

Next item: A sack containing broken bits of small children's toys such as lead soldiers and wooden animals

A sack containing broken bits of small children's toys...

When tossed out on the ground the broken toys grow to child size and roll about screaming in pain, lashing out at anyone or thing they can. The noise created is such that spell casters cannot concentrate on their spells and those who might try to walk through the toys are mired and tripped no matter how nimble they may be. If enough toys are in an area it is possible that someone mired might be suffocated and die as the odds and ends of toy parts work their way into a beings mouth.

Next: A dress made of dragonfly wings.

The Princesses Escape.

Originally given as a gift to an elven princess for her coming of age ceremony in a long sense fallen kingdom, this Gossamer Gown allows it's wearer walk without leaving footsteps and glows like a torch with a kaleidoscope of colors when a command word is whispered. Additionally, once per week, it's wearer may issue a command for the dress to grow wings that allow for an hour of flight.

Next: A set of dice, tied up in the gut of a pig.

A set of dice, tied up in the gut of a pig

When Masie went for a job as a chef at a wayside inn, she was asked to make herb sausages for a special guest. She had to look up the recipe in a book, but she was good at reading. The recipe said "dice the onions" but onions made her cry, so she left out "the onions" and just used "dice".

You found this in the rubbish bin behind the inn, didn't you? What were you doing rummaging through rubbish bins? Up to no good, I'll be bound. The landlord is coming around the corner and he is not in a good mood. Make a Persuade roll.

Next item: A small chest of drawers. In the middle drawer is a single blue sock and a single red sock.

Next item: A small chest of drawers. In the middle drawer is a single blue sock and a single red sock.

Chest of the two sisters.
Any object placed inside any drawer disappears. By saying an activation word the object reappears inside the same drawer. If a second object is placed before recovering the previous one, the first one disappears. Wearing the blue sock causes the person to fall into an eight-hour deep slumber, be teleported to the last place of comfortable sleep and forget the previous day entirely. Wearing the red sock causes the subject to be vanished into an apocalyptic dimension ruled by sentient automatons. If a person successfully manages to wear both socks at the same time, he or she becomes a god, otherwise the first sock to be put takes effect.

Next. a silver pendant with a flaming bunny figurine

A small chest of drawers. In the middle drawer is a single blue sock and a single red sock.

Roy G's Chest and the Socks of Biv

These socks are two of a set of seven socks corresponding to given attributes - one each red(STR), orange(DEX), yellow(CON), green(INT), blue(WIS), indigo(CHA), and violet(AC). The chest has three drawers. Each day at dawn, socks in the chest may become enchanted. Socks in one drawer become items that add +2 to the attribute, socks in another drawer become +1, and socks in the third drawer get no enchantment. However, which drawer produces which effect changes each day and cannot be known in advance. To provide the attribute benefit, the socks must be worn, and any one creature may wear at most two socks (regardless of the number of feet it may have). A sock loses its enchantment just before dawn, or if it is put on and then taken off.

Next item: A small conch shell and eight iridescent glass beads strung on a silver necklace.

The Eight Stones of Ocean's Might
The wearer of the necklace can peer through one of the eight stones strung on the silver chain to see one of the fabled Eight Seas of the world. While looking upon a sea, the bearer can gently blow on the conch shell to either calm the waters of that sea or cause a sudden storm.
