So we have Darth Emo with Kylo Ren, now we have BatEmo? Bruce Emo?

Anyhow, I must say that Affleck was a pleasant surprise, and Batman v. Superman a rather underrated flick, imo. I very much enjoyed it, even moreso on a second viewing. It was flawed, certainly, but darkly epic with several really cool elements.

Still might surprise us. Go to it with low expectations and you might get pleasantly surprised. I did that for Terminator 3.

Failing that watch it drunk. Might be good, remember George Clooney.

I’ll give it the benefit of the doubt. Keaton and Ledger were both highly derided choices until they proved to be excellent. Actors act!

From what I understand RP has done some pretty good jobs acting in other movies. The fact that friends don't let friends Twilight is besides the point.

Yeah, both actors were heavily criticised. People were furious about Ledger playing the joker... but turns out he might be one of the best Joker's of all time (second only to Mark Hamill in my opinion).

Then again, DC is having an epic dance with failure lately. If they get Batman right with Pattison, it's probably on accident.

Hard to judge an actors quality by the Twilight films. Hard to make chicken soup when your given chicken poop to work with.

He's done both bad and good performances before and after Twilight. I think he's one of those actors who only brings to the table what the script contains. Good writing, good. Bad writing, bad.

Ledger was incredible...surprisingly so. He went to a dark place playing that character, and I honestly think it contributed to his death.

Not so much with the DC failure on its last few movies. Wonder Woman and Aquaman were both surprisingly good. And while I haven't seen Shazam! I do hear that it is a fun and entertaining movie. Maybe RP will get it right...if they don't make him sparkle...
