Ice cream is frozen, aerated soup.

The Cyrogenian Period, in which the Earth was covered in ice, was only 700 million years ago.

As far as Earth history is concerned, soup is older than ice.

I'm trying to imagine a traditional soup with the calorie and fat content of my homemade ice creams (that heavy cream, whole milk, and cream cheese really packs it in).

We don't really know what caused the big bang or what there was before it. If you believe in string theory, there are giant membranes that happen to collide now and then causing our universe and existence in the big bang.

Therefore, the membrane layers being put one atop another is older than either soup or ice cream. Thus, sandwiches are older than both.

Prove me wrong.

I just had a soup and sandwich for a meal (a sort of pepperoni and cheese in between bread with a beef vegetable soup.

No ice, but the ice was in my freezer before I bought either the ingredients or the supplies for the soup or the sandwich.
