Ice is older than soup.

The Primordial Soup brought forth life on Earth some 3.5 billion years ago.

The Cyrogenian Period, in which the Earth was covered in ice, was only 700 million years ago.

As far as Earth history is concerned, soup is older than ice.

The ingredients for the primordial soup was delivered inside the ice of comments.

Ice is older than soup.

Ha!

The universe started in the Big Bang, the initial state of which was a dense, hot, fluid soup of radiation and particles. That nasty solid matter did not condense out until later.

Soup is older than ice.

Ok. This is getting hard…..

Oh! Time zero all that was condensed into a singularity with zero temperature. Ice is older than soup.

We don't really know what caused the big bang or what there was before it. If you believe in string theory, there are giant membranes that happen to collide now and then causing our universe and existence in the big bang.

Therefore, the membrane layers being put one atop another is older than either soup or ice cream. Thus, sandwiches are older than both.

Prove me wrong. ;)

I just had a soup and sandwich for a meal (a sort of pepperoni and cheese in between bread with a beef vegetable soup.

No ice, but the ice was in my freezer before I bought either the ingredients or the supplies for the soup or the sandwich.
