The video below from Nerd Immersion delves into the races in more detail.

Then the only reason they're marketing it now is because they want to manipulate people into buying an overpriced gift set because we don't know when it will be available on its own. This whole thing is very bad form, imo.
Nobody is being manipulated at all. You can choose to buy at a higher price, or choose to wait (as I will). It will be available, and I suspect it will be exactly one month after sales for the box set decline meaningfully.

I wish I could have seen the full ToC.
Same here. Although I about strained my eyes out of their sockets trying to read the parts of the Bestiary that were shown to see what, if any, changes there are from VGtM and MToF. I'm not seeing anything missing that can't be explained as being part of another section (the Abjurer and Apprentice Wizard aren't listed, but could appear in a "Wizards" section like the cattle and dinosaurs do), and I'm only seeing one addition that I just can't make out fully - there's the Dolphin and then a Dolphin [something], which would likely be new. Individual monsters like Archdevils and Demon Princes did make it in.

I'd love to see what the right third of that page and the entire next page show..
