Have you tried science fiction?
same there, the problem is I do not like human.
What are you looking for? 5e has about every race imaginable at this point, but if your not doing 5e it would be easier to know what your looking for in a race before trying to make random recommendations. Give us something to go on and maybe we can help!
well, they have not imagined whatever fits me.

any hints to what that could be would have been a lot more helpful, esp. since it was already explicitly asked for…
yeah that's the problem I vaguely like the magic mystical option who are not elves nor elves with the serial number filed off so zero options.

vaguely mystical sounds like ‘anything but human’ to me… so you should have some options ;)

Maybe narrow it down further, or simply pick the closest thing available. Do you have an example from fiction that is not just a ‘reskinned elf’?

Changling, owlin, kalashtar, vorlon, bardottan, medusan, droyne
can't pull off changling the head space makes me anxious.
owlin have no lore to my knowledge.
kalishtar is just a human sub species which never works out.

aint a vorlon from B5?
Everything after that I have never heard of.

There is lore.
kalishtar is just a human sub species which never works out.
With an alien dream-creature symbiote. They work just fine. Play the alien-dream creature, not the human host.

Sure, why limit it to D&D?
Everything after that I have never heard of.
Then you should look at some things that aint D&D.
