I had to go ahead and put people on ignore whose output basically comes down to "nuh uh!" It doesn't add anything to discussions and it just tempts me to respond "uh huh," which is a hell of a way to spend the limited time we have in this life.

I have tried with partial success to engage with people who have a shared liking for a shared hobby.

I used to get more wrapped up in extra game concerns (all the controversial topics) and also engage with people who may not like the same games I do.

That way lies madness!

The truth is if I sat down at a table at a con, I would be happy to play with almost anyone. But maybe not debate with them…
DISCUSSING a thing we both like is another matter.

Hell i can aven get along with people that like bards and monks!
