OOC: Rolling for Donnell as requested.

Donnell moves up and attacks, but his blade misses. Like the colonel he is struggling to have an impact on this beast.

OOC: Move to V35 (or X35 if the table stopped the giant moving).
Attack: 1d20+5+1d4=9. MISS. Even if he's prone and has advantage, the result is the same. Ugh, I'm sorry.
Bonus: I don't see how Donnell can trip the giant with a bonus action, but he'll do that if he can. Otherwise, disengage and move back.

If he's still upright, that's probably best for us, since it means Doc can shoot him, without disadvantage. Shoot him, Doc!
OOC: Donnell has shield mastery that lets him shield bash as a bonus. Back from camping

Doc continues advancin' with all due leisure, makin' sure his hat stays perched, snappin' off two more more shots in the direction of the tallest rustler in the saloon.

If Doc is surprised that the first shot doesn't hit its mark, he takes some small bit o' grim satisfaction with the second shot.

The table shifted under the weight of the giant, but it did not move very far. The giant was instead pinned, leaning backward, squeezed tight against its cluttered weight, as Donnell and the Colonel, kept it busy while Doc mosied on inside and shot it once, striking him in the shoulder while he struggled to keep himself upright.

The giant was off-balance and befuddled by Gimlak's psychic assault, but he still managed to strike the Colonel once more with his barrel - a powerful blow that the Colonel took with grit and determination, though he felt it.

Kahru charged past and swept the legs from the fleeing giant. This giant was no combatant, but he still had the size advantage, and he flailed his fists at Kahru as he struggled to get to his feet.

OOC: The first time the giant hit the Colonel with the Barrel, it would have been from 10ft reach, but this time you're adjacent. The giant is now squeezing, so he had disadvantage on his attack rolls against the Colonel, and will grant advantage to attacks against it next turn. He managed to do 20 to the Colonel, but I suspect will get zapped for it. @Tonguez - Yes, the squares are 5ft & the corpse is difficult terrain, but Kahru can probably jump over the corpse enough to avoid it and make it. The schlub was knocked prone but got back up and stayed to punch Kahru for 6 (3 after rage)

Doc wasn't altogether pleased a shot missin' the mark, but reckoned that a good cowboy don't blame his gun. He straightened up and took aim, sending two more bullets straight into the tall rustler that was takin' out some anger on the Colonel.

Donnell sees an opportunity as the Hill Giant was on its heels against the table. He moved in and attacked with his rapier, swooping in and dodging the giant chef's make-shift weapon.

OOC:
1. Cunning action disengage
2. Move 10 feet diagonal to W34
3. attack with Rapier
Attack with Bless if Colonel makes con save: 2D20.HIGH(1)+5+1D4 = [6, 3]+5+[3] = 14
Damage: 2D6+2 = [6, 4]+2 = 12

AC 11 if Colonel fails Con save for bless
AC 14 if he makes it.

4. Move 15 to W32

Doc stood his ground and kept on firin' his pistols. The giant stumbled further back onto the table as each screaming bullet struck home, but he didn't go down until the young Squire stepped in and stabbed his sword into the giants' fat thigh. He must've hit the big vein, 'cause the giant slumped down on the table before sliding off onto the floor.

OOC: Giant's down. @Tonguez Kahru can probably finish the Schlub. We can quit if you like, or you can roll a nice killing blow, up to you. Waythe will be happy either way.

OOC: Catching up:
Storm wrath not needed, if the giant is down. Still has 4/5 uses.
Concentration: 1d20+2 with adv vs DC10=21 PASS -- concentration continues, for 18 more seconds...

Slots remianing: 3, 2, 3, 3, 2.
HP 27/73.

The Colonel's hurt, but doesn't want to let it show. The barrel hitting him in the chest feels like it cracked a few ribs, and the Colonel's not sad that Doc and Donnell took out the giant.

For a moment he leans on the table that had pinned the giant, bending over as if catching his breath. He turns to see Kahru wound the smaller giant in the room, and suddenly the kitchen is theirs. He exhales.

"Well done, lad," he says to Donnell. "That's two more for you now. Don't think I didn't notice." The Colonel stands up and looks about.

For a moment, there is peace.

If they're staying in the kitchen (stairs on the SW, store rooms, and another area in the NE), then it probably makes sense to bar the kitchen door, if the wind blast did not destroy it.

"Can the door be secured?" he asks, coughing.

Waythe was happy again and the Barbarian felt the elation as the fleeing hill giant collapsed at his feet, its desperate fist flailing ineffectively against his rage filled muscles. For good measure he plunged Waythes blood thirsty blade into the giants gut. It mattered not if the creature fought back, the Barbarian took his time to drive the great sword through fat, sinew and viscera cutting up into its torso.

Turning Kahru looked back to the others, the kitchen was secured and they were regrouping, but the barbarian and his sword both wanted to carry on - either a systematic sweep of the Steadings survivors until he reclaimed the eagle-bone whistle, or delving down into the caverns beneath - it mattered not as long as more giants were dead by the end of their bloody campaign.
