Same here, especially a day like today when it’s around 109 F. Nice and balmy.

11 Celsius here. For mid winter that's mild. Not sure what that is in Big Mac Units.

My spouse likes to set it colder as it gets warmer outside. I prefer the opposite.

I have central air in the new house and it is nice to just be able to flip a switch and have cold air. I try not to run it much, but the humidity has been swassy lately so it is set at 78/25c between when I can open the windows.

My parents still have never had an AC unit. They just close the windows in the day and put on a fan.

69-70 upstairs for sleep.

75 downstairs for the bird who also has a heater.

At 75 downstairs I often complain…I wear shorts and put my hair in a pony tail.

Growing up a nice 70…

Oddly one grandma refused to use it, the other with asthma kept it like refrigerator…

Our house (Dallas/FW Metroplex) is set for 78degF.

However, we have ceiling fans in almost major room, especially the bedrooms. And we use them. The one in my room in particular is oversized and overpowered. It has SIX speeds, and I rarely turn it over fourth.

Our house in Atlanta is 101 years old. Once the humid heat of summer hits, we keep it at 76 F. Sometimes I'll treat myself by turning it down to 75 or even 74. We have two big fans that we keep on 24/7 during the summer.

Right now I'm staying at my parents' house in Novato, about 30 minutes north of San Francisco. It's been high 90's to 100+ the last few days. However, it's comfortable inside their 38-year-old house at 78 F. (They keep it at 80 F, and I turn it down when I realize I'm sweating.)

The big difference between the two places is that Atlanta is humid and stays hot at night, and the Bay Area (outside of SF) is a dry heat and cools at night.
