Interesting fact, in the WFRP Old World, eating pineapple on pizza has the same effect as a Digestive Tonic, but it makes you vulnerable to corruption.

That's a good way to ruin the finish on boots, for the record.
Tangent: I may have mentioned this before, but I love clothes. And I always try to take care of what I own.

I have never understood the desire to own things that have been artificially aged OR designed to have an accelerated aging process as a marketing tactic. I saw it first with expensive ripped up jeans. Then in guitars- both “reliced” and nitrocellulose finished.

The most recent was boots. I was looking at some Grant Stone brogued cap-toe boots with an almost ivory finish. Absolutely gorgeous, and currently out of stock. Good thing, too- as I looked longingly at the gallery, I noticed that some pix showed the boots with reddish brown markings on them. The marks are from where the finish has scuffed off after a few months of wear as it is designed to do.

I had already asked for a restocking notification before I noticed this. I’ll be able to ignore that if & when.

They blow up guitars to make them look older?!
