I came to this thread directly from the NFL thread and initially interpreted "Gronk" very differently.

That's a fine-looking beverage.
I had changed the case on it after my initial post. It was capitalized, and I thought to myself, "that won't do" for the same reasons.

The drink turned out nicely -- my wife doesn't like Campari as much as I do, and she thought the dark rum balanced out the aggressiveness of the Campari nicely. My only regret is that it was probably a little ambitious for a school night, as it were. I don't have cocktails as often as I used to.

Sometimes the classics are the best.

I was at a backyard barbecue last weekend, and our host had set up a little wet bar on the patio that everyone could help themselves to. So I helped myself to a classic margarita: equal parts triple-sec, tequila, and fresh lime juice, over ice.

I'd forgotten how much I like them. For the longest time I thought I hated margaritas because in the restaurants back home, they were always made with artificially-flavored limeade and blended with ice.

Its true, a lot of restaurants have awful mixes. Some with enough sugar to give ya the diabetes.
