I mean, it goes over how to make that happen or not, depending on what kind of game you're going for. I don't know if YOU will be satisfied with that advice, but it's NOT like they're saying "Do one big combat per day and Nova away! It'll be fine!"Maybe? But my concern is that if full resource reset by night's sleep remains (and there isn't even an alternative now apparently?) and the guidance for crazy number of encounters per day is gone too, then the game simply becomes even more ludicrously easy than it was before. Like players can just nova the one or two encounters they will have per day and will never have to fear running out of spells and stuff.Like is there anything stopping this from being the outcome?
What do they actually say is the job of the DM?
Personally I have 0 familiarity with Greyhawk so I was excited for it as a sort of blank canvas to run games in.So, regarding Greyhawk..any bits that jumped out at you in particular? It seems the Free City and the Flannaes each get about 11 pages of Gazateer material, any particularly cool hooks or notable bits and bons?
The DMLike is there anything stopping this from being the outcome?
Yes, and the weapons have weapon mastery properties. Example: Shotguns have the Push mastery.Do the firearms, explosives, and scifi weapons have gp values?
I understand that there are plenty of questions and you probably can't go into more depth right now, but once you get the digital, I'd appreciate if you could elaborate somewhat. I just don't see he more story oriented game where the fights are more sporadic can really work without gritty rests.I mean, it goes over how to make that happen or not, depending on what kind of game you're going for. They give advice on how to get what you want.
