And their replacement for Supergirl in these stories, Andromeda, Laurel Gand, a probable descendent of Mon-El, was even better, with more personality than Supergirl has almost ever shown. She was tough, no-nonsense and a mom. She was great.
The recent Tom King Supergirl series was pretty good, though I imagine how much you like it will depend on how much you like Tom King's work (I mostly like it a lot). It gave her some nice depth.

I've heard good things about it. It's on my long list of stuff to eventually check out. (I missed the entire Krakoa era of the X-Men, to show you how far behind I am).

I'm not as caught up as I used to be. I basically read Batman, and then whatever Tom King and Kieron Gillen are doing. If Morrison does something, I'll hunt that down, too.
