At this point, I’m scolding about the scolding, and if I’m right that’s just going to make y’all dig in. So I’m going to stop.

But I will say this: It’s not apathy. I’m certain we want the same kind of society and the same kind of hobby. I just believe the scolding, moralizing and policing has produced inevitable backlash that puts us further from that goal. FFS, look around.

Ok, now that the scolding portion of this thread is done, I would to love to hear what D&D and TTRPG vid/podcasts are worthy of a listen. I have my short list (see previous post), what is yours. I am always looking for the signal in a world of noise.

Willowwares is excellent especially if you like using unusual monsters as bosses, or like injecting more horror/spooky i to your games.

Just watched her vid You're Using Oozes Wrong (D&D's Hidden Horror) and it is great. Her boss monster Luminous Ooze is terrifying.

Personally, I absolutely despise WotC's retcons to the draconic pantheon. TSR built a draconic pantheon that was powerful and epic, but WotC treated it as trash.
I will never understand why WotC insists on devaluing the dragon gods through retcons. Killing off Io in 4e made zero sense. Then in 5e, they stripped dragon deities like Chronepsis of their divinity just to turn them into Greatwyrms. If the excuse for making them Greatwyrms is so that PCs can actually fight them, why hasn't WotC published a single official adventure where we can actually fight a Greatwyrm?
The lore consistency is a joke. Even Tiamat and Bahamut get retconned within the same edition. The 5e2014 MM says 'Tiamat's most hated enemy is Bahamut', but then Fizban's drops and suddenly their lore is super close and intertwined. The 5e2014 MM also says Tiamat 'holds a special enmity for Asmodeus', but fast forward to Vecna: Eve of Ruin and suddenly she 'maintains a courteous relationship with Asmodeus'.
After seeing how badly they've mishandled the draconic lore, I'm totally done buying WotC products. Unless they somehow restore the draconic pantheon to 2e status, DnD is dead to me.
