I have not had a chance to open it up yet. Stupid work...How is the implementation?
I spent 10 minutes making a character and it was pretty smooth. the only thing is it does not actually tell you how many experiences or cards you can have at 1st level. not a big deal, but since there is a wizard i can of expected it to block the add button after doing 2. The attacks, checks and reaction rolls are pretty intuitive (for FG anyway). It does not look like it gives you hope automatically if you roll with hope, tho.How is the implementation?
I think it's a bug, because there's an option for auto hope/fear.I spent 10 minutes making a character and it was pretty smooth. the only thing is it does not actually tell you how many experiences or cards you can have at 1st level. not a big deal, but since there is a wizard i can of expected it to block the add button after doing 2. Later I will explore Adversaries and Environments.
Really? I found it refreshingly intuitive building my players' PCs from the Demiplane versions.. Especially compared to 5e, which my players sometimes still need help with after playing on FG for 10 years.I walked a player through inputing their character last night (because none of the rest of the group was free). It is a little opaque at times, and not everything is explicit or coded. So take care when building a character and definitely test things before play.
One thing that was new to me but may not actually be new on FG were "Mod: 1d6" effects. You have to roll that before you make the check, btw, because it inserts a random mod in the mod box.
I think the 5E Wizard is a little better, but not much. The big issues are it doesn't give you limits on things like Experiences, so you just need to know, and it doesn't auto-equip your weapons and armor. Overall it is good. I just wanted to caution people on a couple details.Really? I found it refreshingly intuitive building my players' PCs from the Demiplane versions.. Hopefully it comes soon. Also hopefully an update automates giving out Hope and Fear for duality rolls.Understandable with the MOD effects, those are brand new and there's still no wiki...I'd hoped that the plus of waiting four months for Derrington Press to finally okay DH for FG meant there'd at least be a wiki at launch...nope lol
