Hey guys, I want to again apologize for delays in keeping up with the game. It doesn't look like things are going to let up in the real world anytime soon. Given that, I think it would be best to withdraw from the game. I've enjoyed playing with you all. All the best! -- GD

For me this is probably as much of a thought experiment as something I'll really do. I just wondered if you kept on revealing that the nonhuman deities were just aspects of the same one's that humans in FR claim, how it would all shake out. Who is the equivalent to Corellon, Gronolator...

I was totally bummed when I realized the CR for a flying snake was just a notch too high for me to get one as a wizard's familiar... :(

At some point, Forgotten Realms reduced the number of non-human specific deities by revealing that some of them were just aspects of the Faerunian pantheon. For example the halfling goddess Yondalla is just Chauntea, and Gruumsh and the storm god Talos are the same being. This got me thinking...

Vottr falls in behind Castagyr and gets ready to spring forward if needed.

"Goldenscales has a fair point. Better to have heavier armor up front if one o' them bandits jumps out at us," Vottr says. "As to which door we go through first, either one's as good as the other fer me."

Vottr glances around the room, at the wall Leonan is indicating, and back at the door. "I'm thinkin' so. The door too. Looks like recent repair work to much older construction."

Vottr kisses the head of Sweet Meduna, his maul, for luck and grasps it in both hands. He nods to the others and falls in behind Leonan.

"Half-elf's startin' to seem smarter to me... but that might just be his new beard - makes him seem more credible." Vottr winks at Leonan, then he smiles at Castagyr, "And fer the record, I didn't kill no one. I was aimin' to wound and subdue. Knocked that big one out cold. Seems the death...

I'm good to go. Vottr just wants to be pointed towards a bad guy and fight, so he'll go along more or less with any plan.

"Well that was fun!" Vottr says smiling as they regroup and head away from the scene. "Who do we rough up next?"

Standing a short distance from the door, Vottr kicks the bushes a bit to make some rustling sounds then says loudly to Brlo: "I stashed big Mama's Boy and that one with the silly beard in the shed! Did you see where the others got off to?"

Does Leonan still have the beard? How long does that effect last?

Hearing his cousin call out, Vottr charges around the corner of the of the tavern. Seeing one man on the turf clutching his leg, he targets the one still run in and lets fly with his remaining handaxe... and misses. "Clangeddin's hairy arse!" he swears. Move right 2 squares then diagonally...
