Hey, It's GRAZ'ZT!

Gale Force 9's Graz'zt miniature looks pretty great when painted! Here's a quick look! But that's not all - there's also a quick look at Zuggtmoy, the Lady of Rot! Graaf't and Zuggtmoy are both Demon Lords, and they both feature in Out of the Abyss, the latest D&D 5E adventure. "Standing nine feet tall, Graz'zt appears as a lithe, muscular humanoid. His skin shines like polished obsidian, and his eyes glitter with malevolent green light. He has yellowed fangs, pointed ears, and six slender fingers decorating each hand. He is sometimes described as having six small black horns half-hidden amid his thick black hair. These fiendish traits are apparent, regardless of whatever form Graz'zt chooses to take. He is considered the comeliest demon in the Abyss, and dresses in the most expensive and elegant finery on the entire plane."

That didn't dawn on me but it does now after looking it up. Overall I've liked the resin gf9 line, nice details in them.

The GF9 D&D minis are really nice. I've got several of them myself. I have to say though, while the paint job on Graz'zt is pretty good, it's definitely not one of their best. It's probably towards the bottom end of what I've seen GF9 come up with for their box art.

My first thought seeing that Graz'zt miniature is how he could be the King of the Onis in my game.

He looks like a handsome, dangerous Oni. And his charming abilities and deceptions (despite not being the Prince of Deception) put him right in line with Oni abilities.

I'm surprised I've never thought of this connection before.

As for Zuggtmoy, I'm sorry she doesn't look nearly as gorgeous and putrid as her much larger-scale model. I guess this is what happens even at the large-scale final boss miniature level.
