I'm not actually sure. I think Box Office Mojo considers "Domestic" to be their own home country (the United States). But for all I know, they might be referring to the home country of each film's producer, distributor, or film studio instead.

When I say "Domestic Opening," I am referring to the entry on the Box Office Mojo website...not any country in particular:
