What happened on She-Hulk that would be relevant to the show?

It appears that Matt had a brief fling with She Hulk that at this point has been over for at least a year if not more.
Well, for one thing, it seemed more serious than a "brief fling" ... I mean, she even invited him over to meet her parents at the end. Plus, he got himself a new suit ... which he appears to have abandoned even before the one year time skip.

We do see it briefly when he puts his helmet back and has a row of helmets. so he still has it, but probably decided "eh this isn't working for me" and went back to red.

Also in terms of how brief their fling with....whose to say, meeting the parents might have been the final straw for Matt who knows. The point is that its in the past and clearly not a part of his active life, just like many relationships are. Maybe Jen will come up in a future episode, maybe not, but there wasn't on She-Hulk that changed or influenced Matt that would need to be brought up in the new show imo.

Without a timeline, how can we say if it was abandoned or not? The inclusion of the helmet seems to say not.

The real version of Muse has the ability to sneak out on Daredevil. It's one of his big things.

This one doesn't.
I’m not so sure. He doesn’t seem to show up on any cameras, after all. I think perhaps the show has been trying to hint that he is powered without ever outright stating it.

Not that it matters anymore. Maybe.

Daredevil knows that! He wasn't committing any kind of violent or public-endangering crime. He was merely getting away - something DD has let criminals do on other occasions, including ones who have actually done stuff!
Daredevil is a vigilante, what do you expect him to do? Dude had already committed a violent, public-endangering crime, so why let him go so he can do it again?

This is part of a larger conversation re: superhero ethics that only sometimes gets touched upon in the comics themselves. Is it worth it to engage violent criminals in spaces where there are innocents when the crime is simply theft from a bank? Even if no innocents are endangered, is the property damage worth it? Thinking back to Matt's appearance in She-Hulk, it would be hard for Jen to justify the damage she did to the parking lot (especially the owner of the car she threw at Matt) as necessary for "catching the bad guy."

Most writers leave such things alone.
