Spoilers Daredevil: Born Again (Spoilers)

Yeah, I'm not sure where this series is going with Fisk's strength - in Hawkeye, he was obviously superpowered. This final episode gave him that moment (which I loved, but I enjoy a good gore shot), which is definitely superhuman, but not to the same extent (i.e. it seemed like he really had to try). And, in general, both Fisk and Matt don't seem that far beyond human capacity.

Like, I don't see how this version of Fisk goes toe to toe with Spiderman. Whereas the Hawkeye version, I could see.

When Fisk appears in Hawkeye, he seems to be fairly superhuman- ripping off a car door with his bare hands, as well as no-selling being hit by a car (let alone exploding arrows).

Yeah, I have to wonder if there's something we haven't been told here. Of course it could just be that the understanding of the Hawkeye writers of the character is different than those writing for Daredevil, but that seemed a little blatant.

Vincent D'Onofrio, when asked about Kingpin's strength, points out that in the original Daredevil series, when he fights Matt, he's throwing a grown man around like a rag doll. In other words, as far as he's concerned, Kingpin has always been incredibly strong from the get-go, and people who've watched the shows shouldn't be surprised about it.

He's supposed to look massively obese but it be pure muscle. That checks.

Having said that, characters' power levels in the MCU have varied wildly, and are in no way consistent.
I might amend that and say that superhero characters, in general, tend to have power levels that vary widely with the writer working on them. So any variation in MCU depictions is pretty much par for the course.

It's kinda like how strong is Batman? Depends on what comic book he happens to be in. In Justice League, Batman is absolutely superhuman. In the Batman comic books, sometimes he's just a really strong guy, sometimes he's superhuman. Comic book logic.

I rather prefer when he's written more like the Robert Downey Jr. version of Sherlock Holmes; above average muscle powered by genius intellect.

Honestly, the more dramatic thing done consistently with Batman is his agility and ability to do things like various acrobatics and parkour moves year after year without destroying his body. There are people who can do some amazing things here, but they intrinsically have a limited shelf life.
