I agree with you. Actually I do! In most campaign I have played in over here elves are portrayed as immortal beings like in Tolkien's books. Longlivety certainly creates some interesting roleplaying opportunities.

I am only guessing but I think it will probably go throug all old undead from the monster manual once more (yawn), with some new rules (yaaawn) and spells (zzzz) offcourse this is only a guess, I don't know anything about it.
