2 PHB II Questions

1. The ranger substitution ability distracting shot states that it causes the hit enemy to be 'considered flanked'. Does this trump the rogue's/barbarian's improved uncanny dodge? I assume no, but I'm wrong a lot...
2. The spell Legion of Sentinels creates swordfighters that can attack. But lists no attacking info for them. I'd be good with the idea that they can't attack, except it says "can make one attack of opportunity per round". Any suggestions?

In response to 1. I believe it works like all other flanking: in that situation, you could only be flanked by the ranger if she also had at least 4 levels more of rogue than you did.

As for 2. I have no idea. :)

I know one of the developers answered this somewhere, but it still hasn't made it into official errata. I recall that they are considered to be armed with longswords, but I don't know what their attack bonus is considered to be.

I asked a similar question. The damage is listed as 1d8 +1 per 3 CL (max +5), on the listing on p.100 of PHB2. The BAB was deduced to be equivalent to the Caster Level but this was conjecture (based on the phrase that states "It makes saving throws or checks with a bonus equal to your caster level"). The legion may only make AoO, not individual attacks otherwise.

Additionally the Legionaire in each square has AC 25, hp's equal to 1/2 CL, and not exactly clear, but the legionaire is Incorporeal granting it the 50% miss chance quality. I would suppose that Ghost Touch would overcome this (as normal).
