I have not heard much talk about great cliffhangers and answers to all this season. What i have heard is how terrible a few of them were. I don't watch the Sopranos, but I know I would be pissed if the creator decided to be artistic when he's suppose to be making good television. I thought Heroes but the high expectations and low pay off of the shield makes it my number for worst.

What is your worst season finale this season (last six months) and why?

I tried to compile as many of the top shows in the last six months that I have seen talked about on here. This thread may contain spoilers so I'm putting that out there now.

Oh, ow. Lot of choices.

Of the list, I saw:
- Lost
- CSI
- Heroes
- Jericho
- Smallville
- Supernatural
- Battlestar Galactica
- Scrubs

I found this season to be pretty bad overall for season finales, but only a few that I found to be dreadful.

For me, it was a fight between Lost and Battlestar Galactica. I voted Lost.

(Honorable Mention goes to Sopranos. While I didn't see it, I quickly looked for the episode synopsis and spoilers, and it sounded absolutely awful. So much so that I've stopped watching the series [get the seasons a bit later in my area].)

Of the shows on the list I watch, I enjoyed all of the season finales, but to vote one as the "worst" would imply that I didn't like it.

I guess I'll vote for Grey's Anatomy. I don't watch it, but its season finale annoyed my wife and I had to hear all about it afterwards, so that makes it the worst for me.

I haven't seen too many of them - a lot of those shows I just don't watch, while some others (Heroes) are still running over here.

Of the ones I have seen, I'm voting for Battlestar Galactica. I really didn't like the trial of Gaius Baltar, was unimpressed by the revelation of the 'final five', and especially disliked
the return of Starbuck
. However, I will be watching next season, because the door is open for them to make the show great again.

Oh man, I LOVED the season finale of Grey's Anatomy. Everyone got screwed because they were too messed up to commit. That's real life, baby.

On the other side, I voted for HEROES as easily the worst season finale.

I haven't seen many of them (I don't get HBO so no Sopranos or Wire for me) so I had to go with the underwelming 24.

I liked most of Lost even if the sacrifice a character made seemed forced (this is of course assuming said character doesn't pull a Mikhail and come back to life next season).

Gotta go with "Other," and say NCIS.

I normally love that show, but the last few episodes of this season--and particularly the finale--were way below par.

Other - Veronica Mars.

Oh, it was good...IF THERE WAS GOING TO BE ANOTHER SEASON. But knowing there is not another season - it was torture!

You speak as if the two are mutually exclusive.

I think one should lead to the other, personally.
