76 in summer why?

Ww go to 18 Celsius whatever that is I. Yankee Doodle measurements.
18c is about 65f, 76f is just crazy

11 Celsius here. For mid winter that's mild. Not sure what that is in Big Mac Units.

Overcast and wet lately.
11 is a warm day! We’ve been getting 5 - 9 lately, frost and bkack ice on the roads, but sun shining on the snow though. We’ve had some nice rainbows this week too

Nice summer day her is around 20-25 Celsius or some amount of freedom fries units.

Once it hits around 29 it starts getting to hot. Go inland and microclimate and hottest I've experienced was 39 (and working outside 37). Dry heat at least.

Air conditioning was open the window or stick your head in the bars icebox.

I live in Western New York. I keep my furnace thermostat at 70 degrees F all year round. It's not uncommon to get temperature swings as drastic as 20-30 degrees in an 8-hour period regardless of the season. Which when I was growing up we had 4 seasons. Not anymore. its either Finter or Sprummer. I live alone in a split-level home. My bedroom is on the third floor, so I have a few fans in there and a window AC. Depending on the temperature 70-66 degrees usually cools it down enough, unless it gets extremely hot and humid in which case it just doesn't do much. I don't bother cooling the rest of the house as its usually about 10-15 degrees cooler than the top floor.

I may be weird. I wear 2-3 layers year round. If it goes beliw 10 Celsius I'll put a beanie on.

Close to 0 Celsius I'll consider a long sleeve jacket.

Tee-shirt, shirt, puffy vest does me from 5 to 15ish above that it's 2 layers.

We don't bother heating the rest of the house or bedroom even if it's-5 outside.

I think your second quote answers the first. Up here I think it's common to change what one wears at home based on the seasons. So for me it's shorts and t-shirt at home (and outside) in the summer, and long sleeves and long pants at home (add layers outside) in winter.

Yup 22 in winter, 18 in summer if it's a hot day.

Why do you cool your house in the summer below what you warm it to in the winter? Based on what you had written in the other posts it sounded like you'd be uncomfortable at 22 - or was that a typo for 12?

No option for, "What temperature do you heat to in the summer because it is a cloudy day in Anchorage, Alaska and
it is fifty something degrees (10 C to 15.5 C) and you're cold?"

We go to Northern Wisconsin last week of July every year. It sometimes gets in the low 50s or upper 40s (7.5-12.5C) at night and we'll turn the heater on then.
