You aren't the only one! In all actuality, after it happened I took a break from gaming, taking in other pleasures of life, which helped to rekindle my flame of love for DnD.
Well, I actualy got more into the game, starting up a new gaming group and I'm having a blast with that :D I'm kinda sterring clear of House Rules right now because of that, I think I am ready to commence with my world building now that I ahve all the alt. rules I'll ever need.

I also just created a PC (a wilder in Dark Sun) I'll be playing for in a bi-weekly campaign in which a friend will be DMing, and I'll be DMing my own campaign in FR. Gaming hasn't been this good in forever!

Congrats, Nyaricus, I knew you were looking for a group, but I didn't know you'd found one.

As for me, my group should be getting back together next Sunday. Woohoo! A friend is gonna be running the Age of Worms, and I'll be doing something Ptolus-wise, though trying to figure out how to absorb all that material in the book is difficult.

Edit: Woohoo! More than 2k posts finally!

Congrats!

See what posting about the D&D movies will get ya? ;)
Geez, no one is ever going to let that go, are they? :p

Not that I really mind. I'm a fan of the first D&D movie for all its campy fun and bad acting. And I just got a copy of Wrath of the Dragon God, which I consider a much better D&D-style movie.

The Melora character cast a spell and I immediate said "Gust of Wind"! WotDG had way better acting, which is a testament to Gerry Lively as a director. I hope they get him to direct Dungeons and Dragons III.

Cheers!
