Could I use the message spell to give Torhak advantage on spotting the traps? Since the kobolds are showing us the way. Basically let him know the path we are following?

He would have to follow within 120feet. Or would that be too obvious? I figured that, with all the sign language and different languages and translations that are happening - Merrick being the interpreter, using message to whisper stuff might work??

I think it requires a copper wire too which I forgot about. But if Merrick is in front and turning around to translate to those behind him, he could fire off some messages.

Yeah, I'd forgotten the Invisibility. Just give me one dc12 DEX Stealth check, with Advantage. Both the Invisibility and Merrick's messages will help to keep you up with the party.
