(5.24 PBP) Vault Redux (OOC) Fitz's Refresher

@Leatherhead , @Neurotic , what do you think? Can we take these guys?

Eta: My only other thought is if someone (Copper?) can steal the key to the cage from whoever is holding it and release the drow first, but that seems like a long shot.

Let me know if you want to fight, and I'll cast bless first.

In a strait up fight? Heck no, we not only in a bad position, we are outgunned.

Fortunately, we don't have to make them fight us. ;)

My proposal is complicated, likey to blow our cover, and cause untold chaos in the tower, but it will be fun!
I say we join in on the card game and start cheating. But not to win, we want to to lose and make it look like one or two of the cultists are cheating to win, causing them to fight eachother! We can use the distraction to free the Drow, and then take it from there!

Lorent is not sure when to start a fight - he would prefer deception, such as taking at least one guard into the cell and locking it - if someone can teleport, we lock the whole lot of you into a holding cell and then "we" get out :D

I like the card idea. Reading IC - sorry for slow posting

We could fight them if we block easy access to their weapons and all exits - or at least easy one. But locking some away or stringing them long way from one another and focus-fireing would be better.

I would suggest to "waste" some time to see if the cage is strongly secured, how to block the exit and only then try to fight.

The idea about cheating at cards to create strife is great, we play round or two "normally" to get a sense of who is most hated or who actually cheats and then target him

I just remembered we have an invisable familar following us around. If that can't help at cards, nothing can!
This is a common mistake (it was made in Taran's other game, too!) Svetlana is an Imp, and is therefore invisible most of the time. Sapphirion is a Sphinx of Wonder, and doesn't turn invisible. Unless I'm mistaken but I don't think that I am.

Don't forget the portcullis.
