Sorry if this sounds dumb, but I thought we were trying to recover a staff. Why are the idols important? I don't recall idols having been discussed before the teams split up, but I could be wrong.

If it makes you feel better I had forgot about them too, until I noticed that Team Caves had found one. But then Id also forgot about needing to find a staff until now too - I thought we were here to kill a Dracolich !

Hey @FitzTheRuke,

Are we close to leveling? Just curious. I'm not sure we're strong enough for a hydra, but maybe next level. Or maybe if we have a creative plan we have a shot, but we'd need to lure it out of the water imho.

I think a creative plan is in order. My idea was to let you go to L5 when the overall party has TWO of the Bhaalite Idols. So... maybe soon, but not before the Hydra needs to be dealt with. Of course, you don't HAVE to necessarily fight it (or at least, not to its death).

"Guarding" is a bit strong. "Sitting on" or "Sleeping near" is a closer fit. Effectively the same thing, though!

For those that don't remember: Bjorn (in Frog Form) came very close to being "eaten" (well, chomped anyhow) by the Hydra. My wife rolled an attack that missed! We also rolled randomly to see if it would give chase, and it turned out to be "too lazy". Otherwise, it's possible that Team Lake would have fought it awhile back.
