Team Lake

The underground lake is fed by this stream. It's basically a long waterslide tunnel, which I have, in the past, done as its own challenge. After the previous scene, which I think worked out quite nicely, I'm inclined to skip the challenge, to avoid being repetitious, and do it all with, perhaps, one group check.

If you want to take the kayaks, Loklafd's kayak is at only 3 HP, so if Bjorn wants to turn into a River Otter or a Sturgeon or something and swim ahead, Loklafd can take the seat in his kayak with Darius, and Loklafd will take his own kayak apart for scraps.

Team Lake

Loklafd disassembled his smaller kayak, rolling up the tattered sealskin. He revealed the inner frame, much of which was made from whalebone, or a hard but bendable pale wood. He threw a few cracked or broken pieces under a tree, but he bundled the rest and stowed it in the stern of one of the two other kayaks. He looked both of them over, and made a few adjustments to them in preparation of using them again in the tunnel.

OOC: Yes, you can Short Rest. In fact, you can Level Up to Level FOUR

Yes, but I was going to get to the end of your scene first, but go ahead and put the work in. Both groups can also have a Short Rest, if you feel you need it. There's no one around to prevent it!

Though do remember: The whole Adventure is somewhat time sensitive - but mostly because no one is certain how long it will take for the Cult to "Unlock the Secrets of the Elf Mages of Uvaren" from the Diamond Staff - and that's assuming that it's something that they are actively pursuing!

So time-sensitive, in that Imani would like to see it done "as soon as possible" but not "take unnecessary risks" time-sensitive, if that makes sense.

If anyone is curious as to why you leveled up from L3 to L4 after only one encounter: Well, the original Adventure is for Level Four, it's just that I started you a lower so I could watch a more natural progression. We'll probably get to L5 or maybe even L6 by the end, just for fun. We'll see.
