(5.24 PBP) Vault Redux (OOC) Fitz's Refresher

That might be a contributing factor, but I think it's mostly my fault for trying to post while cooling down from a bit of heat exhaustion earlier today. I admit I was scanning for the team Infiltrate tags and not paying deep attention to what else was going on at the moment.

I feel like a post-summer-synopsis of what's gone on is in order:
(feel free to add anything I missed)

Team Infiltrate:
Gained some info about the headquarters of the cultists: Learned about a Hydra.

Escaped into the sewers and just missed Team Lake by a few moments.

The sewers are the lake complex where Team Lake are currently exploring.

They are being pursued by a tenacious Cultist: Terrin set up a decoy dancing lights to lead him astray and copper and drow are going to ambush him? Lorent is taunting him.

Team Lake
Svetlana has seen several places through the teleporter:

1. A place where they are teaching/indoctrinating cultists
2. The place where team Caves is currently fighting hounds and wizards and mercenaries.

Going to both places activated the teleporter, which caused guards to go through the teleporter and investigate. A fight ensued.

After the fight, they heard team Infiltrate's combat but decided to follow Guldred instead of investigate.

Found the hydra, guarding a door? presumably accessible from the higher levels

Guldred is an outcast. His tribe has been usurped by a lizard folk warrior who killed the tribe's chief and is currently working for the cultists. Team Lake has agreed to help Guldred free his tribe? or help Guldred in some way.

Team Caves

Made a deal with the kobolds
Have one statue
Touching it seemed to conjure a 'fake' dragon - or an aspect of the dragon? Which we defeated
Shamal is cursed.
Have found the location of the treasure vault (but haven't explored it)
Green stones are 'super dangerous' somehow.

Shamal sent everyone @Steve Gorak Alwyn and @Neurotic Lorent a sending:

Dead Dragon Defeated by Delvers. Deeper into Dungeon.

For the record, @Snarf Zagyg, I think you missed it but, right when we discovered Shamal was cursed, Merrick advised that you give the sending stones to Urgan in case something happened to you. Not sure if you caught that or if Shamal would be up for that.

Way to connect the dots Taran. I must admit I was not really following the other groups once we split up, so it's nice to see this summary.

Freed one of Imani's former rivals (Stryke) who says he knows where one of the idols is and is leading us there.

Guldred is an outcast.

I mean, you know, maybe it's me, I'm feeling a little angry at these people who thoughtlessly breathe the air that they do not deserve maybe, but I'm cursed how? I mean, cursed like bad language? I curse at you, I'm here to damn you? I'm here to damn you to the mighty djinn? What do you mean, cursed? Cursed how? How am I cursed?

I don't know what you're talking about. How do I know? You said I'm cursed. How in the name of al-Rabb am I cursed, what is cursed about me? Tell me, what am I cursing about!
