The spell from the male eladrin continues to affect the heroes as they draw some minor wounds and work to recover from the vicious assault of their enemies.

The female flies above the sand quickly, her arm outstretched and she gathers the very wind as she flies toward Cyr. She moves next to him and the wind coalesces into a blade that slams into the deva.

The massive scorpion slaps at the shifter with its large claw, sending Kaeysari skipping across the sand like a rock on the water and a bolt of lightning crashes into the arthropod. It then turns its attention to the kobold and the angel. The claws drops down on the angel and Papolstaanas, passing harmlessly through the conjuration, but knocking the kobold to the ground.

The smaller scorpion's pincers slam into the goblin, scoring a minor wound.

The dragon unleashes a roar and a purple miasma emanates from the creature and it's eyes turn to Phoenix. It flies across the battlefield, streaking towards the spellcaster it's claws ready, but it is rocked by a strong wind just before it attacks and Phoenix easily ducks it.

The male eladrin curses at the dragon "I told you to keep me away from them!" as he disappears off its back and onto the sands.

He points his hand at Phoenix and she hears whispers in her mind, confusing her and distracting her from true threats that are only feet away.

Eladrin 1: Fey step to P14. Deluding Whispers - vs will (phoenix); dmg (1d20+11=21, 2d8+6=18) hits for 18 and slide Phoenix to M9. Until the end of the target’s next turn, the target cannot see creatures that are not adjacent to it.

Seeing the male eladrin assault Pheonix, and not really having a shot at the other, Damen pops up from his cover and aims at the enchanter while his back is turned. The range is just too much, and it strikes the rocks at the mage's feet. Cursing, he dashes over to another set of rocks.[sblock=OOC]Sneak Atk + Backstab at range misses (by 2, nabbit!). Move to H18.

OOC: Scorpion should have taken 4 lightning from hitting Kaeysari. Also Papolstaanas should be at J21 unless something moved him.

"Wait! Wait!" yells Papolstaanas, picking himself up off the ground. "I can pull it, pull the giant cucumber, so that... Is it the cucumber? Kauldron, you can come over here and stop..." He waves his sword vaguely at the smaller of the large scorpions, and the wind suddenly stirs, gathering into a vortex that drags the creature next to its larger sibling. "There we go. Wait! Help! Why is there a giant cucumber coming towards me?"

Edit: not sure how that 1d12 got in there. Weird. Anyway the 1d20 result was a 2.

OOC: I'm curious as well. Did the Large Monstrous Scorpion slide me 1 when it hit me? Cool if it did. Otherwise Kauldron was suppose to be in R22 instead of R23.
